This policy describes the current AadhaarCard website. It has no reader accounts, Aadhaar application forms, or identity-document uploads. Do not enter Aadhaar numbers, OTPs, or personal documents into search or editorial messages.
Browsing and search
Hosting services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, request times, and pages visited to deliver and protect the website. Search terms may appear in page URLs and reach the hosting provider. Please search for general topics, without personal identifiers.
Cookies and advertising
The administrator sign-in uses an authentication cookie to protect the editing session. Readers do not need to sign in. Advertising and third-party analytics tracking are not currently enabled on this website. If those services are introduced, this policy and any necessary privacy choices will be updated first.
Email and external websites
If editorial contact becomes available and you send an email, your email address and message will be handled through the email provider. Links to UIDAI and other external websites take you to services with their own privacy policies. Check the destination before sharing sensitive information.

Technical providers retain operational logs according to their service and security practices; no single retention period is specified here for every type of log.
